Die Geschichte

Im Jahr 2006 liegen die Anfänge der Nahwärmeversorgung in Oberopfingen.
Die Agar-Energie-Illertal GmbH & Co. KG baute die Biogasanlage St. Dominikus, die Nahwärmeversorgung in Bechtenrot wurde bekannt und Herr Wucher vom Fachverband Biogas e.V. wurde aktiv.

Im Jahr 2007 fand am 24. Januar das erste Treffen im ‚Landgasthof zum Löwen‘ unter der Leitung von Herrn Wucher statt. Die Konzepte und Möglichkeiten wurden vorgestellt und alle 19 anwesenden Hausbesitzer stimmten für eine weitere konstenneutrale Planung.

Im August 2007 starteten die Pioniere weitere Hausbesuche um mehr Interessenten in der Oberopfinger Siedlung zu finden.
Leider wurde fast durchweg negative Resonanz geerntet. Zudem kamen die Ergebnisse der Probebohrungen am Iller-Kanal, woraufhin die Initiatoren eine schöpferische Pause einlegten.

Im Januar 2008 packten die Initiatoren das Projekt von Neuem an.
Es wurden neue Mitstreiter gewonnen und die Arbeiten begannen wieder auf Hochtouren zu laufen. Vermessungen wurden beauftragt, Konzepte erstellt und Kalkulationen durchgeführt. Die Behördengänge und notwendigen Planungen waren sehr zeitaufwendig und planungsintensiv und Wochen vergingen.

Im Januar 2009 fand eine weitere Versammlung im ‚Landgastof zum Löwen‘ statt.
48 Hauseigentümer gaben ihre Zustimmung für das Vorhaben.

Am 30. Juli 2009 wurde die Genossenschaft gegründet. Hiermit begann nun die wirkliche Arbeit!
Es wurden die Anträge bei der Bafa und beim KfW gestellt, die Verträge mit den
Genossenschaftsmitgliedern gemacht, die Ausschreibungen getätigt und mit der
Detailplanung des Netzes begonnen.

Einige Wochen später war dann auch schon Baubeginn und die Erstellung des Netzes hat begonnen.
Die Unterquerung des Kanals und der lange kalte Winter machte uns zu schaffen und es
dauerte bis Ende Mai, bis wir die groben Netzbauarbeiten abschließen konnten.

Genossenschaftsversammlung (Jahresabschluss) am 23. Juni 2010
Es wurde die Fertigstellung des Netzes und die schnellstmögliche Inbetriebnahme verkündet.

Offizielle Einweihungsfeier am Rathausplatz am 19. September 2010 mit Herrn Bürgermeister Langenbacher.
Nun ist es endlich soweit, das Netz wurde offiziell eingeweiht und die ersten 70 Haushalte sind auch schon am Netz und dürfen sich umweltfreundlicher Wärme erfreuen!

Ein Neubaugebiet mit weiteren 27 Häusern wurde in 2012 an das Nahwärmenetz angeschlossen.

Zum 31.12.2012 werden 150 Haushalte (190 Wohnungen) mit Wärme versorgt.

Zum 31.12.2013 werden 165 Haushalte (200 Wohnungen) mit Wärme versorgt.

Zum 31.12.2018 werden 190 Haushalte (240 Wohnungen) mit Wärme versorgt.

Zum 31.12.2019 werden 204 Haushalte (300 Wohnungen) mit Wärme versorgt.
